AS-AUTO ventilation fans are bathroom exhaust fans for wall applications, suitable for connection to ventilation ducts. They are equipped with automatic shutters that open independently when the fan is switched on; in the closed position the shutters block the airflow and prevent backdraft. A thermal actuator opens and closes the shutters smoothly 45 seconds after the fan is switched on or off. The fans have a round duct connection in Ø100 and Ø125 mm and a plastic impeller; air discharge can be horizontal or vertical. The direct-drive fans use 2-pole synchronous motors with class F insulation and IP44 protection, totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) and rated for S1 and S2 duty. Supply is 230 V single-phase; versions for 50 Hz and 60 Hz are available. The motors are outside the scope of IE efficiency classification. Operating air temperature: −20 °C to +40 °C.
