Commercial External-Motor Rectangular Duct Centrifugal Fans
AS-RDF-EX fans mount directly onto rectangular ducts and are used for space ventilation with low energy consumption. The motor sits outside the airflow, so it is not affected by foreign particles in the air, and an access panel makes cleaning easy when needed.
The casing is made of galvanized sheet steel with rectangular duct connections for in-line installation. Air discharge can be horizontal or vertical. Backward-curved aluminium impellers, balanced to ISO 1940-1, cover sizes from Ø280 to Ø560 mm.
The direct-drive, totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) asynchronous motors are 4-pole WAT motors with IP55 protection and class F insulation, rated for continuous S1 duty. IE3 efficiency is standard; IE4 and EC motors are available on request. Versions for 400 V 3~ 50 Hz and 380 V 3~ 60 Hz supplies are available. Operating air temperature: −20 °C to +50 °C. Standards: IEC 60335-2-80, ISO 1940-1.
