AS-MEF

AS-MEF kitchen hood fans connect to kitchen hoods and extract smoke from cooking equipment such as stoves, grills and frying counters. This keeps the kitchen air clean and prevents heavy odours. The motor, outside the airflow, is not affected by oily and sooty exhaust air, and an easy-access panel allows impeller cleaning. The casing is made of galvanized sheet steel with round connections. It can be installed as a cabinet unit or in-line in the duct, with horizontal air discharge. Backward-curved galvanized impellers, balanced to ISO 1940-1, cover sizes from Ø315 to Ø500 mm. The direct-drive, 4-pole WAT asynchronous motors are totally enclosed and fan-cooled (TEFC), with IP55 protection and class F insulation, for continuous S1 duty. IE3 efficiency is standard; IE4 and EC motors are available on request. 50 Hz and 60 Hz versions are available. Operating air temperature: −20 °C to +120 °C. Standards: IEC 60335-2-80, ISO 1940-1.
