AS-EXR-VI
Commercial External-Motor Roof Radial Fans – Vertical
AS-EXR-VI roof fans are vertical discharge radial fans with the motor positioned outside the airflow. This protects the motor from dust, oil and other harmful substances in the air and ensures continuous ventilation. Thanks to vertical discharge, the fan is not affected when its surroundings are enclosed.
The casing is made of galvanized sheet steel with an electrostatic powder coating. The fans are roof-mounted, with round or rectangular connections and vertical air discharge. Backward-curved aluminium impellers, balanced to ISO 1940-1, cover sizes from Ø280 to Ø560 mm.
The direct-drive, 4-pole WAT asynchronous motors are totally enclosed and fan-cooled (TEFC), with IP55 protection and class F insulation, for continuous S1 duty. IE3 efficiency is standard; IE4 and EC motors are available on request. 50 Hz and 60 Hz versions are available. Operating air temperature: −20 °C to +50 °C. Standards: IEC 60335-2-80, ISO 1940-1.
