AS-AX-SD

Industrial Concealed Motor Axial Fans

AS-AX-SD concealed motor axial fans are preferred where the motor must not remain in the airflow and a belt-driven fan cannot be used. For fans that have to operate under continuous heat, optional mini cooling fans can be fitted to cool the motor. The casing is made of galvanized sheet steel with round connections. The fan can be installed in-line in a duct, on a wall or on a roof, with horizontal or vertical air discharge. Aluminium impellers with 5 or 8 blades, balanced to ISO 1940-1, cover sizes from Ø560 to Ø1,120 mm. The direct-drive, totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) 4-pole WAT motors have IP55 protection and class F insulation and are rated for continuous S1 duty. IE3 efficiency is standard; IE4 and EC motors are available on request. Versions for 400 V 3~ 50 Hz and 380 V 3~ 60 Hz supplies are available. Operating air temperature: −20 °C to +50 °C. Standards: IEC 60335-2-80, ISO 1940-1.
