Industrial Belt-Driven Axial Fans with External Motor

AS-AX-PB axial fans have an external motor driving the impeller via belt and pulleys, for applications where the motor must not remain in the airflow. With the belt-pulley system, a fan speed other than the motor speed can be set during production on customer request. The casing is made of galvanized sheet steel with round connections, and a mounting bracket is supplied as standard. In-line, wall or roof installation is possible, with horizontal or vertical discharge. Aluminium impellers with 5 or 8 blades, balanced to ISO 1940-1, cover sizes from Ø400 to Ø1,120 mm. The belt-driven TEFC 4-pole WAT motors have IP55 protection and class F insulation and are rated for continuous S1 duty. IE3 efficiency is standard; IE4 and EC motors are available on request. Versions for 400 V 3~ 50 Hz and 380 V 3~ 60 Hz supplies are available. Operating air temperature: −20 °C to +120 °C. Standards: IEC 60335-2-80, ISO 1940-1.
